1) I have friend whose USA wife considered the original "Terminator" movie to be satisfactory for children to view. So, violence, mayhem, and death were okie-dokie. BUT, she had forgotten the scene where the two human fugitives have a tender moment of making love. The suggestion of sex. A hint of nudity. She freaked out. 2) A commentator once observed how Canada had a strange halfway relationship with these concepts. Of British origins, but next door neighbour to USA, our sensibilities are either no sex, no violence or yes to sex, yes to violence. On an individual basis.
