Your appeal does not fall on a heart made of iron. BUT, 1) I'm forced to disagree with your claim that "so many of my comic heroes" dwell in TinyApp. I've scanned their roster of comics and...it's you and maybe one other. Nothing else rings my chimes. 2) By modern standards I'm in the minority, but I live on my desktop computer, and very much NOT my phone. TinyApp apparently takes great pride in not being functional on a desktop. So, an impasse. Sorry
Hey that's fine, it's not for everyone. Losing Tinyview would mean the equivalent of losing my job, so I hope nobody begrudges me trying to help keep them going!
But I wanted to express my concern about the lack of RSS Feeds, both native and via 3rd parties (RSSHub, OpenRSS). I'm aware you have asked for them (https://twitter.com/ItchyFeetComic/status/1363751779146555394) so thanks for pushing!

Sadly, I'm not sure I agree, because a) I'm also more PC-oriented, and it's really clunky on a big monitor, and, more importantly b) they limit access to free users. Your previous comic was my "last free comic for this month" - thus I can't use it further without paying, and you're the only artist whose comics I read there. I'm not sure whether you're publishing more often lately and the limit has always been there, or they've introduced it now that they're short on cash - but putting webcomics behind a paywall sort of defeats the point for me. Suppose I recommended your comic to someone who's never read it, and it was only on Tinyview (I know it's not, just as an example) - they could never catch up to it without subscribing.
Yeah I think that's the idea though, at least that's what they're trying right now. I understand it's frustrating after getting comics for free for so long but it's what we want to try to make a sustainable thing here.

DeleteNo begrudging here! I wish all promotions and self-advertising was so friendly and considerate!
DeleteI wish you and Tinyview all the luck!
