PSA: Feedburner is shutting down their support for email lists. That means that if you're reading this in your email right now, I'm going to move you to a Mailchimp list, which will start sending you these comics in June. You should not notice anything except a change in the formatting. Hopefully!
But if you mysteriously stop receiving Itchy Feet comics in June, check your spam just in case.
If you'd like to get ahead of the curve, you can already sign up for the Mailchimp list here, which I'm testing now. But I'll move the whole email list over either way.
If you're following via RSS feed, nothing should change! Feedburner will still support Blogger feeds.
I'll repeat this message until we start in June.

Ah, yes, I'm familiar with that face. That's the kind of expression my Italian friend has whenever I bring home-made pasta for lunch and call it "spaghetti bolognaise"... (to say nothing of the face she makes when I proceed to smother said dish in grated cheese...)
ReplyDelete😬😬😬😬 <-- that face
DeleteI haven't had the privilege of eating Italian cuisine in Italy. However, I have gone as a special occasion to restaurants that boldly claim to be "Authentic". Assuming this is an honest claim, this hyper-polite smile of tolerance is what I've made. The food certainly wasn't bad by any measure, but give me the North American evolution of the cuisine anyday. (same with authentic Chinese food)
ReplyDeleteVery often the US variant takes on a character all its own. In some cases it becomes its own cuisine that influences the original - just look at California sushi rolls
DeleteI'm afraid I don't get this strip. What is she holding in her hand in the third panel, why is it gone the next and why is she waiting for a bus?
ReplyDeleteShe's holding the doorknob :)
DeleteAnd I just checked the link, looks like sometimes the full comic takes a bit to load - the bus stop panel is not the final panel of the comic! Would be kinda funny in a surreal way if it was...
I didn't really get this one either, since I did not see the panels after the bus stop panel (although I could create all sorts of scenarios what might be happening). Only now all the panels loaded.
