    1. New York City, it seceded from the US, dug itself out of the ground with shovels, and shipped itself to the Bay of Biscay before joining the EU.

  2. I think the newest official flags in Europe are those of Kosovo and North Macedonia, which both show a lamentable lack of bars OR stripes... :)

    1. This isn't the EU, this is Europe in general. It's just mostly EU countries because all the European countries with 3-stripe flags (with the exception of Russia) are in the EU. Non-EU countries such as Belarus, Albania, and Switzerland are probably out of frame to the right (next to Portugal and Greece)

    2. Oh, OK! Since it was the new European flag, I thought only EU countries were in attendance, so I was wondering why Iceland.

    3. I think you misinterpreted "new European flag"; they don't mean a flag of Europe, but a flag for a (fictitious) new European country.

    4. Indeed, I thought it was a new flag to replace the blue one with stars, I didn't understand it was the flag of a new (European) country ^_^

  5. I have a script.
Meeting up with Scandinavians/Germans: "No, I am busy the four coming weeks. I just have 20 minutes for a breakfast in 13 days. Shall we look at next month?"
Meeting up with Latinos: "Friday? I don't know. No idea what my life will be like so far in the future"
