People in Madrid always asked me for directions. When i replied that im not spanish (in english mind you, cause if I replied in spanish like hell would they ever believe me) they're response would be that I look and sound spanish and should stop confusing people 'wear your flag or something'
Once in Berlin I was stopped for 2 spanish guys, asking me in a bad english if a train was stopping in Zoo Station. As spanish I am, I replied them back in spanish "Yes, this one is stopping there. Anyways, you can read it on the screen too". They thanked me the information, and I listened they said to each other "Wao, we have improved a lot our english! I was able to understand perfectly to that german girl!" My face was O_o
This happened to me so often when I first moved to Austria. People kept asking me for directions and I felt so bad disappointing them.

ReplyDeleteHaha! So in the Spanish version of this comic, the guy just gets mad at you for misleading him.
