For sure. You can't really go wrong in Thailand. Unless you don't like spicy food. Then you can go very, very wrong.

This takes me back! I remember when I volunteered as an English teacher in a remote village, I lived with a host family and really wanted to integrate. That meant eating everything they gave me. Which meant I had very painful bowel movements.
Nothing says "authentic village experience" like painful bowel movements!
You mean Papaya salad right? That dish often out-spicies all the curries and chillied rice dishes out there.
That's certainly one of Thailand's many dishes that LOOKS innocent enough, but in fact packs a serious tongue-boiling punch!
